There’s no doubt that we’ve all been online window shopping quite a bit during quarantine!
With all of the sales and promos, I’ve pulled the trigger on a few things from swimsuits to skincare. I wanted to share the recent purchases that I’ve opted to keep because I ended up loving them so much.
SHOP MY RECENT PURCHASES:
RECENT FASHION PURCHASES:
I had been eyeing this tee for a long time! It’s so comfy and I love the oversized fit.
This is THE SOFTEST sweatshirt I’ve ever bought. I want it in more than one color now. I got it in a medium for a slightly oversized fit which was perfect and not too baggy.
This is the best $13 t-shirt you’ll ever find in my opinion. The tee feels very durable and like a high quality shirt. I’m bummed I only got it in one color – the others are sold out in my size right now! Put these on your wishlist and get it as soon as they’re back in stock. I got a medium knowing that I’d wash the tee and it might shrink a little!
RECENT JEWELRY PURCHASES:
Since the fall I’ve been constantly wearing gold bead stretchy bracelets. When I saw this choker I thought it would be the cutest lightweight layering piece!
So dainty and feminine! Another amazing layering piece especially for the summer.
I LOVE these bracelets! So chic and you can wear them all the time – including in water. Fun to stack or by themselves! I have the 4mm and 5mm bead width in the 6.5 inch wrist size.
RECENT SWIMSUIT PURCHASES:
Shopping for swimsuits online AND from a fast-fashion retailer was initially a little scary for me. You just never know how things will fit or about the quality! I was very pleasantly surprised with this suit from HM. I went with a size 6 for the top and size 8 in the bottom. I’d definitely recommend sizing up!
I DIE for a lemon print on anything! Especially a frilly and cute bikini. These bathing suits are currently on sale for 25% off when you buy two or more pieces! I got a size M in the top and bottom. The bottoms ran a pinch big but I think the S might’ve been a little too snug.
RECENT FITNESS PURCHASES:
One of my friends was wearing the cutest sports bra (but more like a cropped workout top) from Free People. It looked so comfy! I loved the ribbed texture, too. Her specific top was sold out in my size when I ordered this top! But it’s back in stock in lots of colors, so I’m definitely going to get my hands on it!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried OV items in the past and they just didn’t end up working for me. Until I found this top! I LOVE IT. I bought it in red and loved it so much that I knew I had to have it in this new lilac color. So comfy and it isn’t quite a crop top but hits right at the waistband of your leggings.
These may just be the most flattering leggings I’ve ever bought. I’m 98% an Athleta convert from Lulu leggings. They just hold you in so much more and the fit is so much better for my body. I love that these have the pockets on the side for my phone or keys! I also love the structured fit of the waistband – so flattering.
RECENT MAKEUP & SKINCARE PURCHASES:
Someone I follow on Instagram had posted about their personalized skincare routine from a company called Haldi Skin. I had to check it out because they use all cruelty-free and mostly clean beauty products! You put in thorough information about your skin specifically as well as the products that you use. They take that information into consideration as well as your budget and put together a routine for you. They recommend products and also incorporate the products you currently have and use into your routine. You don’t have to buy anything in order to get your routine, and I loved that they didn’t pressure me into making a purchase. They also made replacement recommendations for when one of my current products ran out. You can always access your account and your routine on their site!
Haldi recommended this Sunday Riley oil for my routine to get active, acne-treating ingredients into my routine but in a less harsh way! I’ve been using stronger products more regularly and needed to alternate those with something to prevent over drying.
One of my concerns was improving my skin’s brightness and evening my skintone. Haldi recommended this serum! It is a bit of a splurge but a little goes a long way. It also doesn’t smell bad like other Vitamin C serums that are popular right now – major bonus. It goes on smoothly and spreads easily because of the other beneficial ingredients that it has in it to hydrate etc. I also struggle with acne staining, and this serum has already improved with brightening and lifting those from my skin!
Lately I’ve started self-tanning all over with my favorite St. Tropez tanning mousse. And since my whole body was now tan…my face needed to be tan! Enter these tanning drops. I am very fair naturally, so I like to go light with any tanning products. I got the light version of these, and they worked almost immediately! They created a very natural tan and glow. I know people rave about the Tan Luxe drops but this brand is certified clean so that made the decision easy for me.
I’m basically all-on on Ilia everything now that I’m so obsessed with their serum foundation, blush stick, mascara, AND concealer. Talk about clean beauty that delivers on quality. On their Insta they have lots of people applying their products and this bronzer seemed to add such a nice warm glow. Other bronzers that aren’t clean would leave me with pimples on my cheekbones. I love that I’ve found a clean product that I love!
