Happy Tuesday! I’m in utter disbelief that Thanksgiving is on Thursday – what?! Time is flyin’, but I’m so excited about this shorter week because I get to see friends that are in town and family 🙂 Anywho, I had a hard time thinking of a post for today just because my brain has been all on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, lately. But one of the biggest things I love to save money on is BOOTS and BOOTIES and there’s no better time to do this than on this coming Friday (head here for more great posts filled with pieces you can save on!).
I thought I’d share my all time fave cute boots and booties with you so that you have an idea of brands to trust and different styles:
MY TOP 8 PAIRS OF CUTE BOOTS AND BOOTIES
Sam Edelman ‘Blake’ Bootie: People at work should be wary when I ask, “where’d you get that?” because it’s a pretty clear indicator that I’m going to copy them. I saw these booties on a co-worker and HAD to have them because her whole ensemble was amazing. Once they came in the mail, I literally copied her exact outfit and ended up riding the elevator into work with her that morning – caught red-handed! Sometimes you have to be a poser. These booties are SO comfy, the heel gives your legs length without them being painful or hard to walk in, and they come in a ton of colors (my favorite is cinnamon). They run true to size, as well.
Marc Fisher ‘Yale’ Chelsea Boot: I scored these guys in the Nordstrom Sale this year and I am so, so glad that I did! The pointy toe is so chic (reminds of Acne boots which cost tons more $$$) and they slide on so easily. Sometimes I think I don’t even need to wear socks with them! I think they could make for a great boot for traveling since they’re so easy to pop on and off. I like to wear them with crop flare jeans for a trendy look or my high-waisted skinny jeans for day-to-day.
Madewell Suede Ankle Bootie: To the end of my days, I will be singing the praises of not only Madewell boots but also Madewell in general. Every time I go in the store I want one of everything and leave devastated because I can’t afford the entire store 🙁 BUT Madewell booties are one of the best purchases you could make for your fall wardrobe…ever. I scored two pairs on sale last year around this time so that means I was paying under $150 for boots that have real leather uppers and soles. A lot of the time, the soles on boots/booties are synthetic and can look cheap/ruin the boot. That’s why it was definitely worth it to me to have a pair that was so high quality and durable.
Studded Ankle Bootie with Buckles: I posted about these a long time ago on my IG stories, and, unfortunately, they’re sold out. But this pair is another amazing Chloe boot dupe that I rave about in this post! I love these booties because they’re an extremely versatile look, but they can give any outfit an edge, especially when I pair them with distressed denim.
Topshop Sock Boots: Sock booties are trending and I was initially scared they wouldn’t look flattering on me. But this pair changed my mind! They’re leather so they don’t slip down like the cloth sock boots and they’re perfect for pairing with skinny ankle jeans.
Marc Fisher Over-The-Knee Boots: I discovered this pair of OTK boots last year on MAJOR sale and they have been a serious win for my closet. They’re the pair that I think is the best/closest dupe for the Stuart Weitzman version. The fit grips well (not a death grip!) and they don’t fall down which is common for other similar styles that go higher up over the knee. I wear them with this dress and cardigan to work on a weekly basis!
Dolce Vita Heeled Over-The-Knee Boots: These boots have made an appearance in many a blog post because of how rich their color is and how easy they are to pair with everything. They were a Christmas present a while back, so they’re not available anymore but this pair is very similar/on sale/available in black!
Stuart Weitzman Reserve Boots: Like I mentioned in this post, these boots were a major Labor Day sale score and a fall investment piece for my closet. I know that this might not be an investment possibility for everybody, but if you’re looking for something to put on your Christmas list or stalk to go on sale, then these boots are so worth it. I’ve worn them with outfits constantly and the fit is just so flattering I pretty much want them on all the time. They’re a great fit for my narrower feet; I got a size 37.5 which is a 7 in US sizing (so true to size for me)!
